Tony - big congrats to you my man. I remember a few years ago when you helped me as a newer writer get into Better Humans and exploded my growth. Still super grateful for that.

I won't lie I haven't been active much on Medium for the last year or so as it's been cluttered with the same clickbaity content for a while. Never thought I'd say this but I'm hopeful for Medium's future with you (someone who's intimately familiar as a user of the platform) at the helm.

As for feedback, I'm with Zulie on demonetizing stories about Medium.

I'd also like to see more focus on individual writers > publications. I'm mostly not here for publications, I'm here for the writers I like to read. Would be nice to see a boost in stats/the algorithm to give incentives for better writers to come back and not have to publish in major publications (subjecting themselves to editors' preferences/having to tailor their work to specific audiences). I'm a much bigger fan of writers who can write what they want and let the greater public decide what's worth clapping to the top of the feed.
