Money Does Buy Happiness!!
Nicole and I did something crazy yesterday — we bought a new car.
Not just any car. A 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander. The best part? It seats seven!
After taking our three boys to school this morning, I’m convinced that money does buy happiness. Anybody who tries to tell you otherwise is full of it.
We were a family of five driving two sedans, but now we’re a family of six with an SUV that seats seven. I’m telling you, it’s life-changing.
Every kid has room. No one’s elbows are touching. Fighting for the middle seat is non-existent. This morning while driving down the road, I had the biggest smile on my face. I danced in the seat at every stoplight. It was glorious.
Both Nicole and I come from humble upbringings. Frugality is our default. But this time we decided spending some money was necessary, so we went for it. Our first big purchase together as husband and wife.
We’re so glad we did. Sometimes money really does buy happiness.
